IOUK Fellowship 2024-2025

The IOUK Fellowship 2024-2025 will rotate between Newcastle and Leeds Teaching hospitals for 6 months in each institution under the expert supervision of Dr Peter Littler and Professor Tze Wah respectively.

There will be the opportunity to learn and undertake established IO procedures including Liver ablation, Renal ablation, TACE and SIRT, with exposure to emerging techniques such as IRE and histotripsy also available.

There will also be sessions to maintain basic IO and IR skills in preparation for a consultant job. The fellow will be expected to produce a piece of research to be submitted to an international meeting, and the research will also need to be presented at IOUK.

The IOUK fellowship is industry funded via BSIR. The 2024-2025 fellowship has been sponsored by BVM, Johnson & Johnson, and Boston Scientific.
