IOUK Fellowship 2024-2025
IOUK Fellowship 2024-2025
The IOUK Fellowship 2024-2025 rotated between Newcastle and Leeds Teaching Hospitals for 6 months in each institution, under the expert supervision of Dr Peter Littler and Professor Tze Wah respectively.
It offered the opportunity to learn and undertake established IO procedures including liver ablation, renal ablation, TACE and SIRT, with exposure to emerging techniques such as IRE and histotripsy also available.
It also included sessions to maintain basic IO and IR skills in preparation for a consultant job, as well as the opportunity to produce a piece of research which was presented at IOUK 2025.
The IOUK Fellowship is industry-funded, via BSIR. The 2024-2025 Fellowship was sponsored by BVM, Johnson & Johnson, and Boston Scientific, with support from Terumo.
