STARS (St. Thomas' Advanced Revascularisation Symposium

Etc Venues, County Hall, London

3rd July 2026

The St Thomas’s Advanced Revascularisation Symposium (STARS) is a leading annual meeting dedicated to advancing the practice, science, and innovation of vascular and endovascular surgery. Bringing together a select international and national faculty, STARS provides a uniquely interactive environment where experts, specialists, and emerging clinicians can debate critical issues, share real-world experiences, and explore the evolving landscape of complex revascularisation.

Each year, STARS delivers a focused and forward-thinking programme designed to address the most challenging aspects of lower limb and aorto-iliac intervention. Recent editions have examined topics such as complex aorto-iliac reconstruction, the management of complications in lower limb revascularisation, advances in drug-eluting technologies, vessel preparation, no-option CLTI strategies, wound management, emerging PAD research, optimal intraprocedural imaging, and the ever-popular “My Worst Nightmare Case” session - reminding us that even the most experienced operators still face difficult moments.

STARS is intentionally informal, highly interactive, and committed to genuine knowledge exchange. The symposium fosters open discussion, practical learning, and direct engagement with leading clinicians shaping current practice.

STARS continues to be a place where expertise is shared, innovations are explored, and the future of revascularisation is shaped together.
