IR Research Day

The Interventional Radiology Research day is the the flagship event of the BSIR/UNITE Collaborative. Our 2025 event is the 5th annual event, and this year we will focus on hot topics in interventional radiology, covering academic/research elements of these topics. 

This year we have a fantastic speaker/topic line up, including: 

• Dedicated morning sub-section of the meeting focused on genicular artery embolisation, with talks from Professor Osman Ahmed and Dr Raman Uberoi 
• Stroke thrombectomy and artificial intelligence decision support with Dr Paul Bhogal 
• Sessions on interventional oncology, electrosclerotherapy and pulmonary embolism 

We will also for the first time be hosting a dedicated interactive workshop on artificial intelligence in interventional radiology, jointly delivered by computer scientists and interventional radiologists. 

This event is open to all IR consultants and trainees who are keen to learn about the latest advances in interventional radiology. Tickets are just £45 for trainees and £65 for consultants.
