IGET
Seoul Dragon City, Korea
14th October 2026 - 16th October 2026
IGET Live Symposium first took place in Gwangju in the southwestern part of South Korea, and was at the time named Gwangju Interventional Radiology Live Symposium.
It was founded by Professor Jae Kyu Kim who sought to educate interventional radiologists on how to perform peripheral vascular procedures through live demonstrations.
The meeting was officially endorsed by the Korean Society of Interventional Radiology (KSIR) in 2013, which hosted the meeting under the current name, Image-Guided Endovascular Treatment (IGET) Live Symposium. Since its endorsement, the scope of the meeting has expanded to a broader field of intervention including venous intervention, embolotherapy, and, most recently, lymphatic intervention.
KSIR is happy to announce that IGET’s annual, live symposium has officially become an international meeting. We believe that this year will be a turning point for IGET Live Symposium as it welcomes a wider audience and participants from the Asia-Pacific region.
The aim of the symposium remains unchanged, however, as once again we seek to promote various minimally-invasive interventional techniques to the medical society.
