BSIR Paediatric IR UK Annual Meeting 2024

The BSIR Paediatric IR UK Annual Meeting 2024 took on Monday 20^th May, at IET Birmingham, Austin Court.

The Paediatric Special Interest Committee have worked incredibly hard on this year’s programme, with sessions including ‘What an adult IR needs to know’, complications in PIR, insights into working with children and lessons from the coal face around the UK, hands-on session on Vascular Access and Feeding Tubes, and a brand-new virtual reality session on delivering bad news.

Our Paediatric's meeting is always well attended, and this year did not disappoint, with over 80 attendees joining us from across the UK. Our fantastic faculty also joined us from up and down the country. 

Our Industry Partners joined us once again for our exhibition, and to share their expertise in our hands-on workshops. This year we had 1.5 hours dedicated to hands-on, allowing our industry partners to discuss and demonstrate their products, along with time at lunch and during refreshment breaks. 

We look forward to welcoming delegates back to the BSIR Paediatric IR UK Annual Meeting 2025, once again at Austin Court.
