Join the BSIR Nurses & Radiographers Committee

The BSIR Nurses & Radiographers Committee is inviting expressions of interest from nurses and radiographers who are passionate about interventional radiology and would like to help shape the future of our specialty.

Committee membership is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to national initiatives, support education and research, develop leadership skills, and represent colleagues across the UK. Members help influence the educational, clinical, research and workforce agenda within BSIR while building valuable professional networks.

The committee meets virtually once a month, with additional opportunities to support specific projects, study days and conference activities. We are particularly keen to hear from professionals with expertise in paediatric interventional radiology, although applications are welcomed from all areas of practice.

You do not need previous committee experience; enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to get involved are what matter most. Please ensure you have the support of your line manager before applying, as some activities may require occasional attendance at in-person events.

Following the closing date, shortlisted candidates will be invited to a brief interview before new members are co-opted onto the committee.
