BSIR ASM 2022 Case Study Scholarship

Case Study Title1 : "The Interventional Radiology case I have learnt the most from, and why?"

Case Study Title 2:  "What do you think are the biggest challenges facing IR over the coming years?"

ELIGIBILITY: Entrants must be either Trainees in Interventional Radiology, Junior Doctors or Radiology Trainees interested in Interventional Radiology.

BRIEF: Entrants are asked to provide a case study report based on their own experience of a specific case or views on the future of IR  The report should provide a description of the case, with reflection, including the key learning points with relevant images (3 max). As the aim of the case study is to provide personal reflection , it is expected that the entrant will be the sole author. Any submission that does fulfill the 'brief', will be rejected. Word count: 500 max. 

Deadline: 20th June 2022

Notification: September 2022

PRIZES:

• Attendance Grant up to £500 to provide travel , accommodation and  basic subsistance to attend the BSIR 2022 ASM .
• Free Registration to BSIR 2022 ( 2nd - 4th November ) SEC Glasgow 
• Portfolio certtificate .
• Please note you will be expected to attend the full meeting.
• Please also remember that BSIR is a medical charity and expenses should be as economical as possible. 
• There is no financial alternative to this award.

NOTES:

• Successful entrants are expected to arrange and pay for their own accommodation and travel.
• They will then submit a claim form with receipts, during or after the meeting, for reimbursement by BSIR up to the value of their award.  The award will be prorata . 
• Daily registrations attendance checks will be carried out at the meeting.
