PREPARATIONS  FOR  PRESENTATIONS WILL TAKE A DIFFERENT  FORMAT

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE DETAILED SPEAKER INSTRUCTIONS FOR SCIENTIFIC SESSION 1 -7

THE BSIR  ASM WILL TAKE PLACE AS A VIRTUAL MEETING THIS YEAR ON THE 1ST  TO THE 3RD DECEMBER . TRAINEE DAY ON 4TH DECEMBER 2020  
BELOW ARE SOME INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW TO ASSIST IN THIS NEW PLATFORM
Please refer to the invitation which details the date and time of the session. .
The scientific sessions are 45mins in duration and you will be expected to be available for this session and 1 hr before to iron out any issues . These will be moderated and scored for the BSIR oral presentation prizes .
 BSIR USE ‘BIG MARKER’ WHICH IS A WEB BROWSER BASED PLATFORM SO NO SOFTWARE TO DOWNLOAD.  You will need CHROME  ( preferably ) or FIREFOX AS A BROWSER. 

HOW IT WORKS  
•    Format is 16:9 PowerPoint   This will fill the screen 
•    Presentations are 6 mins  with 2 mins live Q and A 
•    10 – 15 minute appointment with Scott Clarke AV manager Scott Clarke scott@clarkeav.co.uk  WILL BE REQUIRED ASAP  to check for any technical issues connectivity device etc . He will contact you with an invitation  link  but best to get in touch with him now. Scott Clarke scott@clarkeav.co.uk 
•    Prerecording will be organized and then you can attend for Q and A live !   Scott Clarke scott@clarkeav.co.uk will send prerecording link with instructions . Follow the instructions and it is quite a simple process.  
•    Please send presentation to Scott Clark AV Manager before hand to test AV manager will send you the links for  presenter dress rehearsal and webinar : contact Scott Clarke scott@clarkeav.co.uk
•    Presentations should be emailed before the dress rehearsal ( Using dropbox , wetransfer or other to Scott at Scott Clarke scott@clarkeav.co.uk
•    Check your devices and webcams are working and charged, best to have a headset but computer audio will work and a hard wire best to avoid loss of connection through WIFI
•    Please make sure all potential software  updates are completed. 
•    To facilitate Screen Sharing you will need to use either Google Chrome or FireFox
•    Please be ready with your own screen slide and keep to time 
•    A.’Whats App’ group will be set up for use during the live webinar if there are any issues    
•    Webinar will open 1hr  beforehand 
•    AV Manager ( Scott Clarke) will trouble shoot any issues on the evening of the Webinar 
•    CPD and certificate of participation will be forwarded after the event
