BSIR CASE STUDY SCHOLARSHIP SUBMISSION 2020

Welcome to the BSIR 2020 Case Study Scholarship Submission System.

BSIR 2020 CASE STUDY SCHOLARSHIP AWARD SUBMISSION SYSTEM 

Case Study Title: "The Interventional Radiology case I have learnt the most from, and why".

ELIGIBILITY: Entrants must be either Trainees in Interventional Radiology, Junior Doctors or Radiology Trainees interested in Interventional Radiology.

BRIEF: Entrants are asked to provide a case study report based on their own experience of a specific case. The report should provide a description of the case, with reflection, including the key learning points with relevant images (3 max). As the aim of the case study is to provide a personal reflection of the case, it is expected that the entrant will be the sole author. Any submission that does fulfill the 'brief', will be rejected. Word count: 500 max.

Deadline: 20th June 2020

Notification: 1st September 2020 ( week beginning )

PRIZES:

  • The 2 best Case Studies will be published on the BSIR website. 
  • A £500 award towards accommodation and travel ( pro rata according to days attended )  to the BSIR ASM 2020 in Glasgow ( SEC Campus)  2nd - 4th December 2020.  
  • Free Registration (funded by BSIR)
  • Certificate provided for all successful scholars .  There will be no certification for unsuccessful submitters . 

NOTES:

  • Successful entrants are expected to arrange and pay for their own accommodation and travel. Please also make sure that you have the appropriate travel insurance in place. 
  • They will then submit a claim form with receipts, during or after the meeting via the website link, for reimbursement by BSIR up to the value of their award. Please note this will be pro rata according to attendance .
  • Daily attendance checks will be carried out at the meeting.  Please register at registration desks.
